A Little About Me...

I am a skilled Frontend Developer with over four years of professional experience. My core competencies as a Web Developer are React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. In my current job at Middlebury College, I got the opportunity to build several complex components such as a clickable grid, an animated list of clickable bars that scroll on hover and the most rewarding of all the institution's homepage. I wear many hats at my day job and have been deeply involved in various aspects of the design to development pipeline. I have also designed several components like an undergraduate billing worksheet and a course curriculum component. I deeply care about accessibility and have made it a core part of my development process. I am also constantly looking to improve the DX in the projects I maintain and took initiative in upgrading the build tool for the main frontend theme from Gulp to Vite. To make the pipeline from design to development more automated and efficient I am building a formal design system in Figma for the Middlebury theme leveraging features like Auto Layout and Figma MCP server. Lately, I have been exploring AI tools such as TensorFlow.js and experimenting with Google's Teachable Machine to discover and test different ways computer vision and speech recognition models can be used to evolve web UX.

A 'This or That' quiz app that uses a computer vision model to detect user's head tilt direction and selects the option on the left or right based on the direction of tilt.

Jeeves - Restaurant Application | May 2019 Link to github repository for the Jeeves restaurant application

Technology Stack: frontend - ReactJS, Material UI

Senior Capstone project to handle everything from seating to order food in a restaurant. This is the page I worked on, it shows orders placed to the chefs in the kitchen. The orders are fetched from local storage.
